形態特徵

• Annual or biennial herbs, softly pubescent; stems 10–30 cm long, sparsely leafy, from a creeping or ascending branched base.
• Leaves short-petiolate, opposite, deltoid or broadly ovate-deltoid, 1–2 cm long and wide, apex obtuse, base rounded, margins coarsely toothed; upper leaves alternate, broadly ovate, sessile.
• Flowers solitary in axils, pedicel slender, 1.5–4 cm long, longer than leaves, decurved in fruits, calyx 6–10 mm long, segments narrowly ovate, obtuse, longer than capsule in fruit and appressed to it; corolla blue, with dark striations, 7–10 mm across.
• Capsule depressed cordate, ca. 5 mm long, 10 mm across; persistent style ca. 3 mm long; seeds ellipsoid, boat-shaped, ca. 1.5 mm long, strongly rugose.

分布

• 台灣 : naturalized on roadsides, seasides and in wastelands from 0 to 2,200 m.
• 世界 : Native of Europe and western Asia.
